The province of Tabuk and the city of Tabuk are not known for any particular regional cuisine or beverages, although there are of course a few specialities. The luxury resorts serve the finest food and drinks from around the world, often with spices and ingredients that give them an exotic touch. The large hotels, such as the Grand Millennium in Tabuk, offer their guests buffets of such quality and variety that nothing is left to be desired. Many hotel guests therefore choose to have their dinner at the hotel. The vast majority of restaurants in Tabuk City or Umluj, for example, specialise in steaks, Indian, Arabic or Mediterranean cuisine or burgers; the restaurants are mostly functionally furnished. The same applies to cafés.
Many dishes do not actually originate from this region, but have found their way to Saudi Arabia from other Arab countries and Central Asia
