General infos Taif

Taif is a city that stands somewhat in the shadow of its better-known neighbours Jeddah and Mecca. However, Taif has its own traditional and modern charm, which is increasingly attracting foreign tourists. Travelling to Taif is not just an ordinary trip, but an emotional experience that should not be missed. In many ways, Taif is a welcome change from the big cities of Saudi Arabia, which are vibrant and full of life. Perhaps it’s the altitude: in any case, life here is more relaxed. Taif and its surroundings are the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature.

But Taif is not just a town; it is also a Governorate (administrative district) of the same name in the Province of Mecca. The name is often spelled: Ta’if.

You will find detailed maps and information about the best sights, rose farms and everything you should know in my ebook ‘SAUDI ARABIA JEDDAH TAIF AL BAHAH‘, available on Apple Books and Amazon Kindle.
