Dammam – Corniche

'must-see' highlight of the city

The wide and relatively newly constructed Dammam Corniche runs along the protected Dammam Bay at its in-town end. Describing roughly a three-quarter circle, it extends for about 3 km (1.9 mi), providing ample space for a large number of pedestrians. The six-lane Corniche Road (Gulf or Khaleej Rd), which runs roughly parallel to bay and corniche, separates both of them from the urban area itself; nevertheless, pedestrians can also reach them from there via a few pedestrian bridges, although their number should be higher.

The waterfront is a fantastic place to let your eyes wander over the Gulf. It is undoubtedly one of the “must-see” highlights of the city.
