The overall principle of teamLab reads: ‘a world of artworks without boundaries, a museum without a map created by art collective teamLab‘. It stands for a new kind of museums which are in several cities worldwide in the meantime, e.g Tokyo, Hamburg and Jeddah, the first one in ME. It would take too much space in trying to understand and explain the museum’s concept. But that’s not necessary at all – quite the opposite. Just let yourself be inspired. I think it’s well worth it.

The digital works are partly abstract video projections in a riot of colour with completely different themes, in which you find yourself right in the middle. These include cosmic colour galaxies sweeping across the floor and walls, explosions of flowers in the extraterrestrial universe, rain showers pouring visually into the room, and much more … (Feb. 2025).
Address: Culture Square (Al Arbaeen Lagoon), north of Al Balad’s Bab (Gate) Jadid; by the way, a nicely and newly made place from which you start for an enjoyable walk along the Arbaeen Lake towards Al Balad passing some nice Open-Air Art Sculptures
