Al Khobar – King Fahd Grand Mosque

eight-pointed star pattern

If you want to make a detour to the King Fahd Grand Mosque (which is worth it, in my opinion), it is a good idea to take the Salem bin Laden Mosque as a starting point for this. To do this, walk west on 30th Street past its first intersection with Prince Turkey Street to the inland end of King Fahd Rd, where you turn south. After a few meters you will reach the front of Iskan Park, in the course of which you will already see the mosque in front of you. You can comfortably walk the approximately 1.2 km (3,800 ft) from Salem bin Laden Mosque in 20 to 25 minutes. Completed in 1997, the mosque is one of the largest mosques in the Eastern Province.
