After about 3.2 km (2.0 mi) of walking, measured from the southern U-turn of main road 617 (King Fahd Rd) at Obayyah Roundabout into Corniche Rd, along the shore you reach a little bijoux, namely the Salem bin Laden Mosque, located on a man-made mound right on the shore and accessible via a small bridge from the Corniche footpath.
