Tabuk – City and Province

spectacular beauty and booming region

Tabuk offers a multitude of beautiful places, spots and unique landscapes. The region borders the foothills of the (arguably better known) Wadi Rum in Jordan to the south and also boasts impressive rock formations.

The coastal region, the mountain range with its imposing rock formations and the desert region are all of striking beauty. With valleys mentioned in the Bible, numerous archipelagos, historic settlements and countless wadis with adjacent fertile zones, the Province offers every visitor a plethora of opportunities to discover this part of the Kingdom for themselves. Whether you want to spend your time at the seaside, in the mountains, doing sports or just relaxing, or are more interested in cultural and historical explorations, the province has plenty to offer. Scuba diving to dreamlike coral reefs, snorkelling, boat trips – anything is possible.

The administrative district of Tabuk City, the largest and regional centre of the Province, has a population of approximately 624,000. The city is located on a plateau 760 m above sea level. There some nice places you should visit in the city and in the entire province. I will introduce a few of them in the following posts.
