Climate in Al Ula

arid & stable

Al Ula has an arid climate. Winter temperatures are mild to warm, but drop to as low as 10°C (45F) in the night. During daytime the mercury reaches up to 25°C  (70F) on some days. Summer temperatures are extremely hot, typical of most of western Asia, and usually exceed 35°C (95F) for five months. However, humidity is low.

Precipitation is generally sparse, falling mostly in small amounts in December and January. On the rare occasions when it rains more heavily, this can result in flooded streets.
