Al Ula offers a sumptuous bouquet of gastronomic specialities. The rich culinary scene also offers an equally diverse selection of restaurant designs, from simple to fine dining, inviting you to explore Al Ula from a sensory perspective. But there are also the more “simple” food and drink stalls, which offer fresh fruit, drinks and something to satisfy a “mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack”.
Please note that alcohol is (still) not available in the international resorts. However, non-alcoholic beer is available at few places.
The town continues to develop a sophisticated gourmet scene. Some of Riyadh’s and Jeddah’s restaurant branches operate in season.
Independent fusion restaurants are more and more flocking to town, too. Guest chefs often present their culinary skills. So there is also a lot on offer in culinary terms.
Many of the restaurants, food stalls and cafés offer their service in the cooler months of the year in the open air against a magnificent landscape backdrop, which enhances the enjoyment experience. Trendy food trucks are increasingly becoming part of the scene offering their way of a alfresco dining experience during moderate evening temperatures.
