The elongated rock formation Jabal Al Ahmar has a number of burial chambers, some of which are arranged on two levels. Three of these chambers (which cannot be entered) have drawings. Some of the outer façades and portals are magnificently carved. Jabal Al Ahmar provides one of the most important testimonies from the 1st century AD in a burial site. It is the Tomb of Hinat, which contained ell-preserved remains of materials such as textiles, leather, plant materials and remains of the buried person.
