Getting there and away – Al Bahah City and Province are perfectly domestically connected by air and by road.
King Saud Bin Abdulaziz Airport, ABT, is an inland aerodrome in the governorate of Al Aqiq, north-east of the city of Al Bahah. It can be reached from the city of Al Bahah in around 40 minutes via the newly and very well developed King Fahd Road 3400, past the university, which is around 45 km away.
The capital Riyadh is approximately 885 km from the city of Al Bahah. Although it is possible to travel such a distance by car, this is not something you will usually consider. It therefore makes sense to travel by car only to the towns, villages within the state’s boroughs and neighbouring provinces.
The cities of Al Bahah and Baljurashi are served by bus stops of Northwest Bus on the NW 11 route between Taif and Abha, but do not have their own bus stations. Similar services are also offered by SAPTCO,
